World's Longest Damper Record

With about 250 helping hands on the historic day, the Guinness World Record for the longest damper was once again claimed by Australia for creating a 153.002 metre damper. The world-record title was originally won by Charleville in 1994 with a 75-metre damper, before being trumped by Sweden with a 125 metre long damper in 2006. The six team members Ranger Nick, Greg Purvis, Leannda Dierke, Steve Hockam, Adnun and Albab Khan, who won the Guinness World Records crown for the Longest Damper, were recently discussing the idea of commemorating the epic event and preserving its historical significance by compiling footage from the memorable day. They are now on a quest to collect as much footage of the event that took place on 13th of July 2019 as possible, and are asking the community for help.     LIGHTS - CAMERA - ACTION

Contributors Wanted!!!

We are seeking the support of Australian Patriots to capture the Aussie feat of the longest damper event in a professionally produced film production, preserving history and creating a digital compilation accessible to all. It is a massive undertaking and the assistance of the community is required to get this project off the ground. Any images or videos that are selected as part of the production will receive a credit on the final digital production and a free copy will be made available to the contributors.
